Núria Dueñas

Profile photo of Núria DueñasNúria Dueñas is a PhD student in Joan Brunet and Marta Pineda’s group at the Hereditary Cancer Program of the Catalan Institute of Oncology, IDIBELL (Barcelona). She graduated as a physician in 2010 and finished her speciality in medical oncology in 2016. Currently, she works at the Genetic Counselling Unit in the Catalan Institute of Oncology.

Her research mainly focuses in risk estimation and phenotype-genotype correlation in Lynch syndrome. Some topics of her research include the analysis of risk reducing surgeries vs surveillance in CRC and endometrial cancer, cancer risk estimation through the use of polygenic risk score and the study of immunotherapy resistance in Lynch syndrome associated tumours.
