Rein Stulp

Profile photo of Rein StulpRein Stulp started his genetics career as a lab technician in 1990 at the University of Groningen working on a MEN2 research project and identified the first germline RET gene mutation in the MEN2B syndrome.

In 2001 he made a career change, becoming a genetic counsellor BA Sc. at the Department of Genetics of  the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG). In March 2019 he finished his Master Physician Assistant training and is currently physician assistant MSc. at that department, with a focus on hereditary cancers.

He has published over 20 papers, mostly in the field of cancer genetics.
