Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Applied Tumor Biology, University Hospital Heidelberg. Her research mainly focuses on microsatellite instability and its consequences for tumor development and progression, including colorectal carcinogenesis in Lynch syndrome.

Francesc Balaguer, MD PhD, is the Head of the Gastroenterology Department at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. He received his medical degree in Medicine in Barcelona in 2000 and got his PhD which focused on MUTYH-associated polyposis and Lynch syndrome in 2008.

Lucio Bertario

Lucio Bertario MD is Scientific Consultant at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, and has had a long career in clinical and scientific oncological research. Recently he was chair of a regional program for colorectal cancer universal screening to diagnose Lynch syndrome patients.

Sanne ten Broeke

Sanne ten Broeke started her training as clinical geneticist at Leiden University Medical Center in 2017 and has recently transferred to University Medical Center Groningen. Her research focusses on both epidemiological and molecular aspects of this subset of Lynch patients.

Professor Dr Evelien Dekker is a qualified gastroenterologist working at the Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology of the Academic Medical Center (AMC) at the University of Amsterdam. She currently is medical director of an expert colonoscopy centre at the AMC and is actively involved in the national screening program for colorectal cancer.

Elke Holinski Feder

Elke Holinski-Feder is Professor of Medicine at the University of Munich and co-founder of the MGZ – Medical Genetics Center. Since 2017 she has been national coordinator in Germany for the European Reference Network (ERN) for all patients with one of the rare genetic tumour risk syndromes (genturis).

Dr Mev Dominguez Valentin has a BSc from San Marcos University in Lima (Peru), a MSc in Sciences from Sao Paulo University (Brazil) and a PhD in Oncology from AC Camargo Hospital (Brazil). She started her first postdoc at the Molecular Laboratory in Clermont-Ferrand (France).
