2nd Meeting 2017
5 July, Florence, Italy
In this short meeting, we looked at the structure, role and future of the EHTG, using the survey results from the past meeting as a basis for this discussion. Also, “Hot Topics”, “Hot Collaborations” and individuals willing to engage.
The PLSD (prospective Lynch syndrome database) evolved from intense discussions in the Mallorca Group. Several high-impact papers have evolved and based on this excellent prospective (unbiased) data, adapted gene and gender guidelines are in preparation. Please visit https://sigven78.shinyapps.io/plsd_v4/ for the interactive tool and direct access to the published papers. The present and future of the PLSD, the interesting results and possible clinical implications, and first ideas regarding updated guidelines were also a topic for discussion.
